Service Project for Family of God
Through donations from Thrivent and MANY families we were able to collect donations of 200 bars of soap, 200 bottles of shampoo, 200 toothbrushes and toothpaste, 200 bottles of hand sanitizer, 200 hand warmers, 200 pairs of socks, 200 bags, 200 sticks of deodorant, and 200 Thrivent shirts! The students paired up and filled two bags, ending with a prayer that the bag might be a blessing to those who are receiving it. The bags will be delivered to Family of God Lutheran Church in Detroit, which serves a community that often are in need of basic provisions.
