Senior Spotlight: Boys Basketball

 

Meet the Seniors!

Congratulations to our Boys basketball seniors, Class of 2020!


Jake Aumann

Jake has played basketball at Lutheran Westland all four of his years. For three years he has lettered and was all-academic. Jake was also a team captain. His favorite memory was making a last second “and 1” layup to beat Stockwell Academy, as a freshman. Jake plans to attend Madonna University or University of Michigan Dearborn. He has also played football and baseball


Grant Ingersoll

Grant has played basketball for three years and lettered for two of those. His favorite memory from basketball was beating Huron Valley Lutheran his sophomore year in an away game. While he is yet undecided as to his plans for next year, he is determined to live happily ever after. While at Lutheran Westland, Grant has also played both baseball and football.


Elliott McLaughlin

Elliot played basketball for four years and lettered for three seasons. His favorite memory was watching Isaiah Jackson (committed to play basketball at Kentucky in the fall) play against Lutheran Westland while Isaiah played for Lutheran Northwest. Elliot plans to attend Eastern Michigan in the fall with a major in business and a minor in Spanish. Elliot also played baseball at Lutheran Westland.


Jackson Miles

Jackson played basketball all four years at Lutheran Westland. He lettered for two of those years. Jackson also played football in high school and has committed to playing football at Concordia University Ann Arbor, in the fall.

 
 

Jacob Rakovalis

Jacob played basketball all four years of high school. He obtained a letter for three of those four years. His favorite memory was the Huron Valley game his sophomore year. Jacob plans to attend Henry Ford in the fall and transfer to Wayne State after two years to study medicine. He also played football and baseball at Lutheran Westland.


Nathan Reddeman

Nate played basketball for all four years at Lutheran Westland. He lettered for two of those years. Nate plans to atttend Henry Ford Community College in the fall to study carpentry. While in high school, he also participated in both cross country and baseball.
