Alice in Wonderland
This past weekend, our Lutheran Westland theatre group presented Alice in Wonderland. Reviews have said the acting, costumes, and set were all fantastic!
This production exceeded my expectations! The kids were so open to my style of writing, embraced all of the crazy schedules from snow days, and I am so proud of them for creating such a wonderful atmosphere on and off stage! I was very excited to see how all of the set, costumes, and writing came together in the end. I have a wonderful team behind me. I think the kids will agree with me that the highlight of this entire production was that our Tech Week ran so smoothly! It was a big confidence boost to all of the students and it showed off all the talent they possess! Can’t wait to direct them again next year!

The highlights of the play for me were seeing our students have so much fun playing the silly parts and using that energy to really get into character. Overall, I was impressed with their performances.
