Real-World Skills in the Classroom
Industrial Arts offers students the chance to learn the skills needed to work with tools and machinery. Our program exposes students to the basics of home repair, manual craftsmanship, and machine safety. Our students get to design and discover solutions as they learn the challenges involved with working with materials and the challenges of small-scale project management. Juniors and Seniors at Lutheran Westland have the opportunity to explore 19 different vocational programs through the William Ford Vocational Center.
With state-of-the-art training equipment and machinery, industry-trained and state-certified instructors, and aggressive job placement, this program thoroughly equips students for a variety of career options after graduation.
